Hormone-Healing Khichdi

A warm, nourishing one-pot meal that supports hormone balance, reduces bloating, and is gentle on the gut. Perfect during periods, hormonal flare-ups, or days when your body needs extra care.

Ingredients

  • Moong dal
  • Rice or millets
  • Vegetables (lauki, carrot, beans)
  • Ghee
  • Cumin & Turmeric

Method

  1. Wash and soak the moong dal and rice/millets together for about 20 minutes.
  2. In a pressure cooker, add the soaked dal and grains along with chopped vegetables.
  3. Add turmeric, cumin, and water (slightly more than usual).
  4. Pressure cook for 3–4 whistles.
  5. Add ghee after cooking and mix well.
